Features 5-9/16-inch OD heavy-walled galvanized pipe with a 24-inch radius. Backboard face extends 6 feet from the front edge of the post.
The Gooseneck Style Basketball Post Set extends the face of the backboard approximately 6' (1.83 m) from the front edge of the post. It is constructed of 5-9/16" (141 mm) OD heavy-walled galvanized pipe formed with an approximate 24" (61 cm) radius. Post allows for a 48” (1.22 m) bury into the ground. The backboard and goal bolt directly to the post forming a solid unit. This eliminates strain on the backboard, if a player hangs on the goal, by transferring the load to the heavy-duty steel post. The Gooseneck Style Basketball Post Sets are ideal for outdoor school playgrounds, parks, camps, and other outdoor applications.
