Ideal for large playgrounds with courts located end to end, the Straight Style Basketball Post Set features a 4-1/2” (114 mm) OD straight post with two 4' (1.22 m) adjustable height extensions. Horizontal extensions are constructed of a heavy-walled galvanized tube and a vertical post fitting. Extension can be installed from 0' to 10' (0-3.05 m) above court level. The backboards and goals bolt directly to the extensions forming a solid unit. This eliminates strain on the backboards if a player hangs on the goal, by transferring the load to the heavy-duty steel post. Post is capped for protection from weather.
